The territory: Val Seriana

Val Seriana, a mountainous valley north of Bergamo, is a land of shepherds, butchers, and cheesemakers.

Over the centuries, the need to preserve meat led to salting and curing techniques that still define the local charcuterie character.
In this context, Bortolotti was born: a company that has preserved and reinterpreted a centuries-old tradition, turning it into a gastronomic excellence for the world.
