This page describes the website’s management methods concerning the processing of personal data of users who consult it.
Bortolotti Salumi S.r.l., located at Via Alcide de Gasperi, 9 24020 Cene (BG) (hereinafter referred to as the “Data Controller”), as data controller, informs you, pursuant to EU Regulation No. 2016/679 (hereinafter “GDPR”), that your data will be used in the following ways and for the following purposes:
A. Subject of Processing
The Data Controller processes identifying personal data (such as name and surname, telephone number, email address – hereinafter referred to as “personal data” or simply “data”) that you provide.
B. Purpose of Processing
Your personal data will be used:
- Without your express consent, as indicated in Article 6 lett. b), e) GDPR, for the following Service Purposes:
- To conclude contracts for the Data Controller’s services;
- To fulfill pre-contractual, contractual and tax obligations arising from existing relationships with you;
- To comply with obligations required by law, regulations, EU legislation or orders from Authorities (such as anti-money laundering regulations);
- To exercise the Data Controller’s rights, for example the right to defense in court;
- Only with your specific and distinct consent (Art. 7 GDPR), for the following Marketing Purposes:
- To send you via email, mail and/or SMS and/or telephone contacts, newsletters, commercial communications and/or advertising material about products or services offered by the Data Controller and to measure satisfaction with service quality;
- To send you via email, mail and/or SMS and/or telephone contacts commercial and/or promotional communications from third parties.
C. Processing Methods
The processing of your personal data is carried out through the operations indicated in Article 4 no. 2) GDPR, specifically: collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, restriction, communication, erasure and destruction of data. Your personal data is processed both in paper form and electronically and/or automatically.
The Data Controller will process personal data for the time necessary to fulfill the aforementioned purposes and in any case for no more than 10 years from the termination of the relationship for Service Purposes and no more than 2 years from data collection for Marketing Purposes.
D. Data Access
Your data may be made accessible, for the purposes under point C., to employees and collaborators of the Data Controller, in their capacity as persons in charge and/or internal data processors and/or system administrators.
E. Data Disclosure
No data from the web service (therefore the navigation data specified above and cookies) is disclosed or disseminated (except for communication to judicial or police bodies if necessary).
Without the need for express consent, see Article 6 lett. b) and c) GDPR, the Data Controller may communicate your data for the purposes under point B.1 to Supervisory Bodies, Judicial Authorities, insurance companies for the provision of insurance services, as well as to all subjects to whom communication is mandatory by law for the fulfillment of said purposes. These subjects will process the data as autonomous data controllers.
F. Data Transfer
Personal data is stored on servers located in Italy, within the European Union.
G. Nature of Data Provision and Consequences of Refusal
Providing data for the purposes under point B.1 is mandatory. Without them, we cannot guarantee you the Services under point B.1.
Providing data for the purposes under point B.2 (marketing purposes) is optional. You can therefore choose not to provide any data or to deny, at a later time, the possibility of processing data previously provided: in this case, you will not receive newsletters, commercial communications and advertising material regarding the Services offered by the Data Controller. You will still be entitled to the Services under point B.1.
H. Data Subject Rights
As a data subject, you have the rights of access under Articles 15-22 GDPR, namely right of access, right to rectification, right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”), right to restriction of processing, right to data portability, right to object, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority.

L. Lodging a Complaint
The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of their country of residence.
M. Automated Decision-Making
The Data Controller does not carry out processing consisting of automated decision-making processes
